Medical Student Rotations

Rochester Regional Health is pleased to provide core clerkship rotations for our affiliate schools at Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Clifton Springs Hospital, and United Memorial Medical Center, and at ambulatory offices across our health system. If you are interested in a rotation, please notify your School Coordinator and submit a completed Rotation Request Form to GraduateMedical.Education@rochesterregional.org.

LECOM

Rochester Regional Health System is pleased to have broadened its partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and is now the largest clinical campus for the nation’s largest medical school. Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) students, please view the LECOM page for additional materials and information.

Physician Assistant Rotations

Rochester Regional Health is proudly affiliated with RIT's Physician Assistant Program; if you are a current RIT student, please work directly with your Scheduling Coordinator. We consider all other PA rotation requests on a case-by-case basis dependent on availability.

We encourage you to reach out to your school's Scheduling Coordinator if you are interested in a rotation with us.

*Note that rotations made directly with preceptors are tentative and subject to Medical Education Office approval and coordination for proper onboarding.

Advanced Nursing Degrees (NP, DNP, CNS, CNM, CRNA)

Rochester Regional Health offers several Advanced Nursing Degree Clinical Rotation opportunities. Interest in rotating with us should be made directly with your Academic Institutions Clinical Coordinator.

Observerships and Shadowing

The Medical Education Office policy is that all rotations are clinical in areas where we have learners, therefore we do not permit observerships or shadowing. Please reach out to us for any additional assistance.
