Residency Program

Diagnostic Radiology

Rochester General Hospital

Director’s Letter

Welcome to the Rochester General Hospital Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Our goal for your training is three-fold:  (1) to impart a love for radiology that will propel you throughout your career, (2) to provide the knowledge and skills required to be a great radiologist, and (3) to be successful in all aspects of your post-residency life.

Education is always at the forefront of our program, comprised of CORE Curriculum-focused lectures, online resources for asynchronous learning, multidisciplinary conferences, and one-on-one teaching at the workstation. We also care deeply about your life outside of radiology; we offer lecture mini-series on topics such as personal finance, stress reduction, and leadership. Our radiology residency offers a unique combination of private practice and academic radiology, preparing you to offer quality reads with efficient throughput. Our residents have gone on to pursue fellowships and attending positions at the top institutions throughout the country.

Thank you for your interest in our residency program!
